The annual conference in the series "Landau Days" is organized by the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics. The conference is the continuation of a series of similar conferences in 1997-2009.

Announcement:

Main subjects
  • condensed matter physics
  • low-dimension and mesoscopic systems
  • nonlinear dynamics
  • quantum field theory
  • relativistic astrophysics and cosmology
  • mathematical physics
  • computational physics and physics of quantum computing
Goal:

bringing together researchers for presentation and discussion of recent results.

Framework:

the program is supposed to be compiled of about 35 invited talks (30 minutes duration each) distributed (mainly but not exclusively) between the main subjects listed above.

Location:

Chernogolovka is a research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located 60 km from the center of Moscow, with regular public transportation to/from Moscow.

Dates:
  • April 1, 2010 — Deadline for abstract (about ½ page) submitting by email to landaudays@itp.ac.ru
  • June 21, Monday, will be the first working day of the meeting, starting from 9 a.m. International arrivals are expected on Sunday, June20. Conference will end on Wednesday, June 23.
