The Landau Days is an annual international workshop organized by the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics starting from 1997. The aim of this event to bring together current and former members of Landau Institute in order to exchange information on recent developments in diverse fields of theoretical physics. Usually, a limited number of speakers which are not formally related to the Landau Institute but who share ideas of the Landau school take part in the workshop. As usual the Landau Days coves the following subjects:
- condensed matter physics
- mesoscopic physics and nanophysics
- nonlinear dynamics
- quantum field theory
- relativistic astrophysics and cosmology
- mathematical physics
- computational physics
- physics of quantum computations
Location:
The workshop will take place in Chernogolovka, a research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located 60 km from the center of Moscow, with regular public transportation to/from Moscow, in Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics.
