Landau Days - 2012

The annual conference in the series "Landau Days" is organized by the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics. The conference is the continuation of a series of similar conferences in 1997-2011.

Announcement:

Main subjects

condensed matter physics
low-dimension and mesoscopic systems
nonlinear dynamics
quantum field theory
relativistic astrophysics and cosmology
mathematical physics
computational physics and physics of quantum computing

Goal:

bringing together researchers for presentation and discussion of recent results.

Framework:

the program is supposed to be compiled of about 35 invited talks (30 minutes duration each) distributed (mainly but not exclusively) between the main subjects listed above.

Location:

Chernogolovka is a research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, located 60 km from the center of Moscow, with regular public transportation to/from Moscow.
