Recently in a series of papers we developed finite-gas approach to the periodic anomalous waves Cauchy problem for the focusing Nonlinear Schrodinger equation. Due to the presence of a small parameter in this problem the leading order approximation of the finite-gap solutions can be written in terms of elementary functions (and remains highly non-linear).

In the present work we derive analogous elementary formulas for the focusing Davey-Stewardson 2 equation, which is an integrable 2+1 systems admitting rogue-waves type solutions.
